❓ Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to use LayoverLoop?
No. You can browse all 130+ city guides, hotel ratings, and tips without creating an account. An account is only needed if you want to bookmark spots, comment, or upload your roster for personalized guides.
How does the roster upload work?
Take a screenshot of your monthly roster from your airline's app or system, upload it on layoverloop.app, and we'll email you a personalized guide for each layover destination — restaurants, transport, local tips, and more.
Is my roster data stored?
We process your roster to generate your personalized guide and then delete the screenshot. We never share your schedule with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Which airlines are supported?
Any airline. As long as your roster screenshot shows city codes (IATA) and dates, LayoverLoop can read it.
How do I add a tip or recommend a place?
Open any city page and tap "Add a tip" at the bottom. Your contribution will be reviewed and added to the guide so other crew members can benefit.
How are hotels rated?
Hotels are rated by real crew on the things that matter to us: gym, WiFi, breakfast, pool, room comfort, and proximity to interesting areas. Ratings are aggregated from crew submissions.
I found incorrect information. How do I report it?
Email support@layoverloop.app with the city, the spot, and what's wrong. We'll update it as soon as we verify.
Does LayoverLoop work offline?
Yes. Cities and spots you've recently viewed and your bookmarks are available offline, so you can check tips even at 35,000 feet.
Is LayoverLoop affiliated with any airline?
No. LayoverLoop is independent, built by a crew member, and not affiliated with any airline, union, or travel company.
How do I delete my account or data?
Email support@layoverloop.app from the address tied to your account, with the subject "Delete my account." We'll process the request within 7 days.
